Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I've signed up to do something called Ultra White Collar Boxing.
I am on an intense training schedule and upon completion, for one
night only, I am fighting in a Cancer Research Charity Boxing Event at the
Ricoh Arena, Coventry on 18th April 2015. For six minutes of my life I am going
to give with everything that I have physically and mentally to try and succeed…
All I ask of you is that maybe you could support me, no matter how small your donation every bit helps the fight.
Without a doubt there will be blood, sweat and tears.
It's going to get messy and I'm possibly going to take a proper beasting, but
if all of that means that you would part with your hard earned cash then it's
worth every bit of pain that I am about to feel. I have never boxed before in
my life and to be honest the nerves have kicked in a little now. It’s finally a
reality.
Cancer has effected so many of us and I have personally lost family and friends
to cancer. I've sat and watch how it destroys the lives of our loved
ones.
My story is one that started when my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. She fought it and continues to do so.
Let me take you back to March 2014 this is when I decided to change my life for the better. I was 19.5 stone and smoked 20 cigarettes a day. The fear of cancer finally hit home and as I am writing this I’m proud to tell you that I am 13stone 8 pounds and I can proudly say I have given up the fags for good.
But this is only the start of my journey…
For those of you that want to see me get a few serious slaps and silence this big mouth of mine then message me about event tickets. £30 for standard tickets or £500 for VIP option, seats up to ten people - waitress service, two-course meal at a ringside table.
Thank You for taking the time to read this.
