Story
The TV series The Walking Dead will celebrate its 100th episode with the premiere episode of the series' eighth season in October 2017. To celebrate this milestone, we are challenging Andrew Lincoln/The Walking Dead fans to sponsor viewings of the previously aired 99 episodes of the series to raise money for Barnardo's Children's charity!
Here's how it works:
- Decide how you would like to sponsor your fundraising event (sponsor yourself, invite friends and family to sponsor you)
- Set a donation amount per episode viewed before episode 100 airs in October (example: $1 per episode. If all episodes before the season 8 premiere are viewed the total donation is $99) or have your donors make a one time donation of their choosing to support your effort.
- Plan your viewing and how you will update your sponsors of progress (viewing parties, social media updates, posted reaction videos)
- Share this page with your sponsors so they can donate directly when updated on progress or collect donations at your live events and have someone from your group submit for your team here. If donating yourself, or as a group, decide the frequency of your donation (per episode, weekly, monthly, or in October at the completion of your viewing fundraiser)
- Get out your DVDs, blu-rays, Netflix, Amazon Prime, iTunes (or AMC marathon's when on air) and start viewing!
- Message Facebook Team Andy Lincoln with your fundraising event ideas and progress and we will feature it on the page
Happy viewing everyone and thanks for your support of the show, The Team, Andy, and Barnardo's!!
Team Andy Lincoln has organized fundraisers for Barnardo's since 2015 and raised $30k (to date) to recognize and support Andrew Lincoln's advocacy of the charities vital work with the UK's most vulnerable children.
