Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am braving the shave (a no.2) for two charities.
On the 11th May 2017, my best friend's father Carlos Silva unfortunately lost his life fight to cancer. MacMillan were involved from day one and supported both Carlos and his young family through every step.
On the 12th May 2017, both my mum and aunt were diagnosed with breast cancer. During the diagnosis and through treatment it encouraged a lot of friends and family to attend their screening and check-ups. This is something that saddened me, why aren't people attending these free screenings anyway?
The main aim of this fundraiser, for me, is to encourage men and women of all ages to take advantage of the free check-ups that are widely available in both the UK and Australia. If I can encourage one person to go for their screening/check, then the shave is worth it, for me!
Thank you for taking your time to visit my page and read my story, any donations will be greatly appreciated.
