 I've worked for deafPLUS since 2009, and I've seen firsthand the impact that their work has on deaf and hard of hearing people's lives.Recent cuts to statutory funding means deafPLUS has to make difficult choices which have an impact on their staff as well as their beneficiaries. It's always heart breaking to have to turn people away and say, sorry, we can't help you. Having a deaf sister also means this cause is close to my heart.I've decided to climb Mount snowdon to raise  money to help deafPLUS continue its vital work. I've never done anything like this before, and would love the opportunity to make a difference and help improve things for the better.
