Story

Narrated by Abu Hurairah that:

The Prophet ﷺ said: “The best of charity is when a Muslim man gains knowledge, then he teaches it to his Muslim brother.”

Sponsor a Student of Knowledge

Darul qurra is an Active Masjid/Institute of learning that is working tirelessly for the sake of Allah and His Beloved Messenger ﷺ.

Just in the last calendar year, Darul Qurra supported 1000+ national and international learners achieve Ijazah Certification in Tuhfatul Atfaal & Muqaddimah Ibn Jazzariya.

Darul Qurra has now started the full Quran Ijaza programme with over a 100 students applying for this great Ijazah connecting the learner with the messenger of Allah ﷺ described by many as the ‘Golden Chain’.

Support

We have received 29 applications from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Jammu Kashmir and Africa who can’t afford to cover their costs to become part of the Golden Chain connecting them to the messenger of Allah ﷺ

I would like to request all my brothers and sisters to support these brothers and sisters and make their dreams become reality.

Costing

Each student will be studying 30 - 40 hours with a qualified tutor costing £350 including their high quality leather bound Ijazah.

Total cost £10,150

Your support and contributions are the key to their success.
Jazakallah for all your contributions in supporting our projects and courses.

Food for thought

I conclude here by a few beautiful Hadith of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ so that we all may reflect on the importance of knowledge and charity.

Sahl bin Mu’adh bin Anas narrated from his father that:
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever teaches some knowledge will have the reward of the one who acts upon it, without that detracting from his reward in the slightest.”
— Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 1, Book 1, Hadith 240

Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"When a person dies, his deeds are cut off except for three: 1 continuing charity, 2 knowledge others benefited from, and a righteous son who supplicates for him".
— Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1376

Narrated Abu Hurairah:
that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever takes a path upon which to obtain knowledge, Allah makes the path to Paradise easy for him.”
— Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2646

Hisham bin Hassan narrated from Al-Hasan:
concerning the saying of Allah: O our Lord, give us good in this world, and good in the Hereafter. He said: “Knowledge and worship in this world, and Paradise in the Hereafter.”
— Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3488

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said:
“Lo! Indeed the world is cursed. What is in it is cursed, except for remembrance of Allah, what is conducive to that, the knowledgeable person and the learning person.”
— Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2322

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “The world, with all that it contains, is accursed except for the remembrance of Allah that which pleases Allah; and the religious schools and seekers of knowledge.”
— At- Tirmidhi, Riyad as-Salihin Book 13, Hadith 9

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:
The Prophet (ﷺ) embraced me and said, “O Allah! Teach him (the knowledge of) the Book (Qur’an).”
— Sahih al-Bukhari 7270

Narrated Ibn Mas`ud:
“I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, “There is no envy except in two: a person who God has given wealth and he spends it in the right way, and a person whom Allah has given wisdom (ie religious knowledge) and he gives His decisions accordingly and teaches it to the others. "
— Sahih al-Bukhari 1409
