Dear Friends + Family,
In the month of July I am taking part in a challenge with my company, MOO. There are 4,658 miles that separate our offices (London- Denver). We are aiming in the month of July cover those miles, as a group. I have pledged 40 miles in July. My goal is to raise at least £250 for Jackie Spellman Foundation as my selected charity. MOO has a charity match of £250 per person on top of this. In addition to this, MOO is going to sponsor our runners total distance, by £1/mile.
I have chose my charity in honor of my friend, roommate, and teammate from Northeastern University who battled Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Its been 10 years since she left this world. We shared MANY 2 mile runs at Northeastern together, often racing. (We had a very competitive friendship). So I will cover the 40 miles in 2 miles runs over this month.
