Story

Right I've decided I would like a completely new drastic hair do and I'm going to shave all my hair to help support Footsteps Foundation and in particular Owen Kew. I may be mad, brave, outrageous I don't know but Owen is an inspiration. He is 6 years old and has dystonic Cerebral Palsy but he is always smiling. Having Cerebral Palsy means that at the age of 6 Owen is still unable to walk or talk and for almost 3 years Owen has been attending the Footsteps Centre in Dorchester for Spider therapy. Each block of therapy consists of 3 weeks and Owen attends everyday for 2 hours where he spends an hour on the Spider followed by another hour of physio. The results have been amazing and Owen's strength and balance have increased massively and he is now able to side seat for much longer and his standing has improved along with many other small milestones. Unfortunately this therapy is not funded by the NHS and comes at a cost of £1,350 for each 3 week session which Owen's parents fund through fundraising and the Footsteps Foundation. With your help and support we can help Owen's parents fund future sessions, so please, please help me "change my image" for such a worthwhile cause.
