Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On July 1st 2013, I will be flying out to Mount Kilimanjaro with a couple of family members, where we will begin climbing. The climb should take five days where we will encounter temperatures down to -20 and all kinds of weather conditions as well as high altitude.
This trip is a family trip and a holiday that we chose to do. However since its going to be tough and rewarding I wanted to do it for a reason where I could make a difference.
The charity i have chosen is one close to my heart. I had worked with PSDS for two years before i left to go to university, I still meet up with and try my best to meet with them on regular occasions.
PSDS is a charity local to my family home in Redhill. They work really hard to help children with Down syndrome reach their full, wonderful potential - and they provide support for other family members too, including parents and siblings.
The services provided by PSDS include weekly pre-school early development groups (Digbies), speech therapy, music therapy, an after-school drama club, occupational therapy, social events including a Summer Fun Day, a family picnic and Christmas Party and education days including training for the school staff working with the children.

I ask you to give generously to a local charity and a good cause that is very close to my heart, thank you.
