Story
For the last four years a team from Talentmark have taken part in an annual Talentmark funded charity event to raise money for very good causes. Challenges have ranged from distance running to hiking marathons in snow in the Alps and we have managed to raise thousands of pounds with our efforts.
2014 will raise this bar again as the team compete in the Artemis Great Kindrochit Quadrathlon one of the toughest one day challenges in the Europe. Our objective is to raise funds for two very important charities:
Mercy Corps, an international development charity working in over 40 countries worldwide helping people to turn the crises of natural disaster, poverty and conflict into opportunities for progress.
Mary's Meals, an international movement to set up school feeding projects in communities where poverty and hunger prevent children from gaining an education.
The challenge takes place on the 12th of July in the Scottish Highlands and consists of the following activities.
Swim - 1.5k across Loch Tay
Run – 24k over seven Munros (Mountains)
Kayak - 11k
Cycle - around Loch Tay 54k
