The RBL are the UK's leading charity providing financial, social and emotional support to millions who have served and are currently serving in the British Armed Forces and their dependents.

Story

Richard Smith (cycling), Andrew Rowlands (swimming) and Rosie Wilkinson (running) are competing in the Cheshire Triathlon on May 12th, raising funds for The Royal British Legion to help members of the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force, veterans and their families.

Richard served 18 years in the Armed Forces but was medically discharged in 2013 after an injury during a training exercise, and now hopes that he and his team mates can raise funds for the charity that is close to home.

The Royal British Legion support serving and ex-serving personnel all year round, every day of the week.

Their support starts after seven days of service and continues through life, long after service is over.
