Who will you walk for? This year thousands of people will feel it all and walk for everyone affected by dementia. By taking part in Memory Walk, you will be providing help and hope to everyone living with dementia now and in the future.

Story

Sadly my wonderful wife Helen has just been diagnosed with stage 2 Alzheimers Dementia. Their is no cure but we are delighted that progress towards a cure is tremendously advanced and, whilst not here yet, it is getting closer.

We also know from first hand experience that early diagnosis and intervention makes a massive difference to the lives of Helen and the 900,000 people a year who are diagnosed with it.

By taking part and raising money, or donating to someone who is, you are helping the lives of those who have it and you are helping the search for a cure.

Once you donate, JustGiving sends your money directly to Alzheimer's Society. We don't get the money to pass on and you don't need to do anything else. It's the safest and most efficient way to fundraise.

So, who will you walk for? #MemoryWalk

We are extremely grateful to the trustees of The Nortonthorpe who have kindly allowed us to stage this walk that will start and finish at The Nortonthorpe on 22nd September, gathering from 12.30pm for a 1.30pm start.
