With my 50th birthday looming, I told Tony that I wanted to mark it with a  'signficant' ride on the tandem.   I envisaged somewhere warm, sunny, abroad, possibly romantic ....  Tony found Newcastle to London, 310 miles, 24 hours for Macmillan!! 

Knowing so many people whose lives have been touched by cancer over the years, and the support that Macmillan provide, we decided that this was a great cause to support, and certainly ticked the 'significant' box.   We will set off from Newcastle at 9am on Saturday 20th August riding through the day and night hopefully arriving in London by 9am Sunday for a well-earned breakfast.   Any donation you would like to make towards our target will be much appreciated.
