Story
I have taken on another mad challenge to raise money for Parkinson’s research UK. After walking Ben Nevis and running the great Scottish run half marathon last year, I am now going to walk the west highland way, all 96 miles of it, camping along the way this will take 5 days. (Starting on Sat 11 May finishing Wed 15 May, hopefully sunshine and a nice breeze the whole way lol ). On the 6th day I will be climbing Ben Nevis. I have been training for this near every other day for the last 5 weeks so ill get there. So if you want to support a charity that is working around the clock to find a cure for Parkinson’s and give me the boost ill need if it’s raining for my 96 mile walk and 4’409 ft climb, please give whatever you can. I know there’s never a good time to ask for donations and times are tough, but hopefully donating to causes like this will help find cures sooner for all the conditions that have taken away family and friends we hold near and dear.
I will post pictures when I get back, I imagine they will start all happy and enthusiastic and progressively / quickly deteriorate, but I will get there it might not be pretty but I’ll get there.
