Story

With a body that bears more similarities to a pear than an athlete, I am far from what you would describe as a natural runner. In fact one of the main reasons I decided to enter this Marathon was that I like to eat and drink a lot... especially around Xmas. I wasn't planning to do this for charity, in fact I was going to keep it on the down low in case I decided to drop out last minute, but recently I discovered some very sad news about a friend who was diagnosed with Leukaemia this year. Having only got to know him properly 9 months ago on a stag, I am hugely in awe of this guy and filled with admiration for how well he is coping and the goals he has set. See his amazing Facebook page here:

Now this challenge is actually significantly less impressive than what my other friend Will Young is doing on the same weekend (https://www.justgiving.com/lincfundraiser/), so to be honest you should probably just sponsor him! 4 Marathons in 4 days makes a single marathon sound like a walk to the shops on a Cornetto run, but if this page can generate any additional donations to this great cause, then I thank you for your generosity.
