Story
I’m Eric Davies and I’ve got prostate cancer.
Three years after my cancer was diagnosed, it’s on the verge of spreading to other parts of my body.
I’ve been referred for urgent surgery but, two months after the referral, no operation is imminent so I’m free to run Trail Marathon Wales on 18th June.
The opportunity to run the marathon is also an opportunity to help raise funds for the charity Prostate Cymru, which works to raise awareness of prostate cancer and to offer advice and help to those affected by it.
Like many charities, they've struggled for funding in recent years, so any donations will be very welcome.
Thanks for reading this. If you make a donation to this appeal, please accept even more thanks!
