Story
"On 20th and 21st July, TFT's Birmingham office will be embarking on a 28 mile rowing challenge from Hereford to Ross-on-Wye in support of the work that The Myton Hospice, Coventry does for their patients, families and friends.
Good luck to our team of rowers, Alan Pemberton, Amy Washington, Chris Gibbons, Clayton McLean, David Medcraft, Dominic Boot, Elliot Evans, George Cunningham, Greg Curtis, Jacky Bell, Jon Denham, Kevin Allen, Owen Williams, Owen Bentley and Rohit Chauhan.
The Myton Hospice provided incredible care to a close colleague of ours who lost a parent in 2021 and who spent their final 12 days at the inpatient unit. We want to raise enough funds to cover the cost of their care (which on average costs £460/day/patient)."
At The Myton Hospices we believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life; we focus on enhancing life when cure is no longer an option. We are leaders in compassionate end of life care; our work centres on our patients and involving them in decisions about their care. Perhaps most importantly we give them more quality time with their loved ones.Last year we supported more than 1,500 people and their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home.
