We have decided to take on a series of challenges and events raising funds and awareness for Bowel Cancer West (BCW). Bowel Cancer West (BCW) is a charity working tirelessly to ensure the survival rates of people in the Southwest of England diagnosed with the condition are the highest in the country. Bowel cancer is the UK's second biggest cancer killer. Bowel Cancer West work to ensure there is early detection for those unfortunate enough to be diagnosed, and your support helps to achieve this. As a team, we are taking on a series of challenges and events raising funds and awareness for Bowel Cancer West with ending on an epic Snowdonia Challenge in June 2023.Mr Lai, one of our Colorectal Surgeons has kindly offered to have his hair shaved off to raise funds...we need to raise at least £1000 to get him to shave his hair off. I know we will achieve this, and we are all incredibly proud of him and grateful that he has kindly offered to do this for us. We will also be organising a "Halloween Bake Off" in October...all cakes will be available to buy afterwards...for a fee!! We know it is a difficult time financially for everyone, but if you can spare a few quid to sponsor us on our mission to raise funds for a very worthy cause and one close to all our hearts, we would all be very grateful.
