Story

Hi there all,

This is TEAMKC and we are trying to help as many charities as we possibly can be taking on various challenges.

We have decided to do the GREAT SOUTH RUN this year for Cardiac Risk in the Young.

The team was formed after Kris Cook sadly passed away on the 10th August 2014 after suffering a heart attack. He was such an amazing man, his career started off as social worker and later involved supporting young offenders in prisons across the UK.

We want to help Cardiac Risk in the Young in their quest to get young adults screened. Screening a young adult could potentially offer them an extra 70 years of life, if a defect is found.

Its a no brainer - we got to support this charity, so we will run the miles we just need a small donation.

Thank you for your continued support.. !!

TEAMKC

Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.
