Story
Stick ‘n’ Step are a Wirral based charity providing free conductive education to children and young people with cerebral palsy, helping them to become more mobile, confident, and independent.
It costs £5,500 per year to fund one child’s place at Stick ‘n’ Step, with over 100 children attending each week.
After hearing about Norman Lovely donating his £500 winnings from Stick ‘n’ Step’s Christmas raffle back the charity, we decided to match his donation. But we want to do more.
As a Wirral-based business, with colleagues who have family members using the centre, The Accountancy Partnership now want to fundraise the remaining £5,000 needed to fund one child’s place.

👣 We’re getting stuck in for Stick ‘n’ Step 👣
The children and staff at Stick ‘n’ Step have issued the team at The Accountancy Partnership with a series of dares, and they weren’t shy about it. It’s The Big TAP Dare-a-thon!
🏃🐔 Chicken Run 🐔🏃
We’ll be using the beautiful park near our Wirral office as our relay-race track.
Our racers will buddy up into pairs, and take it in turns to do timed runs going forwards, backwards, and three-legged style – all whilst dressed like chickens. Accountants might have a reputation for being boring, but the kids at Stick ‘n’ Step are determined to bring us out of our (egg) shell!
👞👟 Supersonic Shoelace Race 👟👞
Learning the fine motor skills needed to fasten shoelaces can be an intricate challenge for children with cerebral palsy. They’ve dared us to take it in turns tying each other’s shoelaces (right feet only – we’re a big team!) as fast as we can. The fastest shoe-lacer wins.
⛰️🧁 Jelly Mountain 🧁⛰️
We’ve been dared to head out into the Welsh hills carrying plates of jelly. How could we say no? We’ll be walking up Moel Famau dressed in green - the official colour of cerebral palsy awareness - carrying plates of green jelly and inflatable cake.
🥦🍏 Going Green 🍏🥦
We've been challenged to go GREEN for a day! We'll be dressing in green, the official colour of cerebral palsy awareness.
👩🦽👨🦽The Wheelchair Dare👨🦽👩🦽
Some of the children from Stick'n'Step have dared us to spend a day using wheelchairs to get around the office, so we can have a better understanding of what they (and other wheelchair users) experience on a daily basis.
🚲🦸♀️Superhero Cycling🦸♀️🚲
Using the spinning bikes in our on-site gym, our team will take it in turns to cycle their way to a collective 100 miles, whilst dressed up like superheroes.
