Story

Synergy Golf is proud to be supporting Special Olympics Ireland national collection day and #cantstopnow campaign across our managed venues. We kindly call on all members, friends, and partners to join us and lend your support of this wonderful cause.

All donations, big and small, will significantly help. Everyone who donates will be entered into an overall draw to win a new Taylor Made Stealth Driver (RRP €569).

Special Olympics Ireland is a charity close to the hearts of everyone at Synergy Golf. As a company, we have proudly supported this great organisation since 2014. Each year at Grange Castle GC, we support the athletes within the Eastern Region League (one of the only Special Olympics Golf Leagues in the World) while nationally we support the other regions by hosting the Olympic Qualifiers at St. Margaret’s Golf & Country Club.

Recently, we received some very kind words from CEO Mr Matt English.

"Synergy certainly played their part in the success of the Team Ireland golfers on a world stage. It is noteworthy, that two of our athletes achieved "Hole in One's" a feat that had eluded me all these years. Team Ireland had their best ever golf results in Abu Dhabi 2019 competing in 6 golf events at which they secured 4 Gold, 1 Silver and a 4th place medal".

Thank you in advance, enjoy your golf this weekend.

About the charity

Special Olympics is a sport organisation for people with an intellectual disability, currently supporting nearly 8,000 athletes across Ireland, who are training for much more than the physical benefits that come from sport, but the emotional and social development that come from being part of S.O.I.
