Story
Wecome to my just giving page
Im sylwia and i have decided to run the wimbledon half marathon in april.
I work in TONI & GUY WIMBLEDON which is a fantastic and happy salon.
I have recently lost my mother to a battle with cancer and my father who is still alive and well has suffered in the past with Strokes.
I am running for The Toni&Guy Charitable Foundation was set up by Toni Mascolo and his wife Pauline in 2003 with the intention of helping a variety of worthwhile causes.
Over the years, the charity have helped many other charities, including their work with Macmillan Cancer Support by developing a unique hair care service to help cancer patients; sponsoring of the Stroke Association’s Life After Stroke Awards(LASA) for four consecutive years; and the donation of £700,000 to Variety, the Children’s Charity to open the Toni&Guy Children’s Ward at the King’s College Hospital, London. Since 2003, the charity has raised over £2 million.
This charity is very close to my heart as they help me and others in so many ways, so i would like to support them in any way i can.
I am quite a sporty person and have run in marathons before so i will carry on by doing what i love to help people who need support.
Thank you for donating to a great cause!
Sylwia
