Story

Swindon Wheelers are, as part of the Evening Advertiser 160 appeal, planning a 160km cycle ride to the Severn Bridge and back.

To mark its 160th anniversary, the Swindon Advertiser launched one of the most ambitious campaigns in its history to raise £160,000 by December in aid of Prospect Hospice – a charity which has touched the lives thousands of terminally-ill patients in their final moments. Swindon Wheelers have responded by organising a 160km cycle from Swindon to the Severn Bridge and back.

The ride will take place on Saturday 26th July and will leave from outside the Swindon Advertisers offices in Old Town at 08.30. Non club members are welcome to come along, all we ask is that you make a small donation to the Prospect Hospice.

Swindon Wheelers would like to acknowledge the generous sponsorship of The Bike Rooms in Old Town.
