Story
I've always said I'm not really a pink sort of girl (more yellow and blue actually). However on Oct 23rd I'll be wearing pink when I hurl myself out of that plane.
Six years ago I found myself in the heartstopping situation of being told I had breast cancer. I know I'm one of the lucky ones; I'm still here. I haven't done a great deal of fund raising, however, October is breast cancer awareness month and it's time I did my little bit to help the fight back. Please support me all you can to help steady my trembling knees because, frankly, I'm terrified.
I also want to take this brief opportunity to remind all my friends that the best way to fight this is to not dither. So if you or your loved ones are aware of anything at all which looks or feels out of the ordinary – get it checked out quickly, even if you feel silly ! That means all you blokes too because I know what you’re like. And be aware of your partner’s wobbly bits, because you might just see something they have missed.
Thank you for your support - chocks away!
