Story

Many of you have heard about Anna from me already, but  for those who don't then please read on. Anna appeared to be a healthy and thriving 11 month old daughter. Suddenly  in January 2012 Anna became ill and she was diagnosed with Alpers disease in March. After a very short battle Anna died on 1st April 2012. This rare mitochondrial disease has no cure.

Jess, David and Holly (Anna's big sister) have been inspirational throughout and have raised a great deal of money to help research into this.

Jess and I met when we were expecting our first borns - Holly and Alfie, in Wimbledon. We have been friends ever since. Jess and David are amazing parents and have been through the worst, imaginable times. However their motivation to raise money has been fantastic.

We want to help them too.

Emily (my niece) and I will be pounding the streets of the 'toon' and want your cash.  I am in training and will probably be miles behind Em but will try my best to keep up...There is a 20 year age gap!! I am not a natural athlete and am currently carrying too many extra pounds but....I will be giving it my best shot. Emily is a lot younger, gorgeous and will find it a doddle. She just needs to fit in training to her busy student life schedule of drinking, travelling and a little studying. We will give it our best shot inspired by the amazing Lewis'.

Please dig deep and donate anything and everything.

Thank you very much.
