Story
Hi!
Thanks for reading my story.
Unless you are really lucky, everyone at some point has their lives changed by cancer. Whether you're a surviver, still fighting, won your battle or lost, what I am planning to do is for you and those who go through this with you and those who care for you not just because it's a job but because they choose this vocation. You are all amazing.
The18th September 2013 our world changed forever. Our Dad lost his fight against lung cancer. During the most heartwrenching time we had the loveliest carers looking after him and us. Now its my turn to give something back.
My sister raises money through running but I, however, am not fit enough. So....
On the second anniversary of dad's passing I will be braving the shave in today fm's "shave or dye or oh my"
I will also be donating my hair to the princess charity who make wigs for children in the UK and Ireland so 2 birds one stone. Speaking of stones it's down to me losing 4 stone so far with my slimming world family in Kinnegad that gives me the confidence to do this. For so long I have hidden behind my hair!
If you are thinking of donating I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Every penny or cent or pound or euro really will help. So I applaud you.
My hair will grow back. I am lucky to be able to choose to do this.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and reading my story.
Love
