Thank you for visiting my page and for supporting the British Skin Foundation

The London to Brighton Cycle ride is quite a physical challenge for me. Some of you will know that 13 years ago I found that I had extensive Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma in my chest - trust me to get a very rare cancer! Luckily after a stormy battle including chemotherapy and radiotherapy I pulled through and defied the doctors by having 2 beautiful boys despite being told I wouldn't be able to have children.

Unfortunately due to the radiotherapy I have fibrosis of half my left lung so become quite breathless when exercising, so I sound like a 40 a day smoker when cycling up steep hills! (Obviously I am just trying to get some excuses in if I am quite slow on the day!!)

I am very excited to be able to take part in this great event and hope I will get up the really big hill at the end
