I am taking part in the great north run this year in memory of my mam Giilian Nixon who passed this June after a battle with cancer bravely fought.  I am running to support St Teresa hospice who supported me in having mam at home to be with her family prior to her passing. This is a charity who are always there in your time of need and believe me no one knows how life turns out and when we need help and support. Every pound donated is a pound to enable them to continue to support others and one day maybe you.... Who knows.
