Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be running the London Marathon this year for a cause which I have had some personal experience of.  Those who know me well will be aware that I have suffered a significant loss of hearing over the last 2 years.  This is one of the symptoms of Menieres, a rare and unpredictable condition which causes progressive hearing loss, vertigo and tinnitus.  Trust me to get something that rare!

The Menieres society is a small organisation which does a lot of good work in research and support for its members, and does not attract publicity or funding in the way some of the big charities do!    This is why I am supporting them.

However, no gain without pain.  Training up to a marathon is proving to be no means feat - I am aching in ways I did not know possible...if anyone wants to donate a fitter, more streamlined body for me to use on the day, that would also be greatly appreciated!!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
