This page is set up for donations in lieu of flowers from Maerion Fenwick.  Maerion was a prolific greyhound breeder and trainer based in Northumberland with her husband Wanny,   Her  love for greyhounds was shared in the passion with her children and passed on to her son James Fenwick who is now a world-class trainer in his own right with his family in Northumberland. Maerion enjoyed many successes with greyhounds such as Laurdella Fun, Winning the north of England puppy Derby the Manchester puppy cup and the anniversary puppy cup  at Powderhall he was the fastest puppy at Brough park where is best time ever over 525 yards was 29.08

There was many other famous greyhounds to come out of her kennels the infamous “Gan On”  greyhounds, Slippy Blue who went on to win the Derby beating Prince Edwards dog.A beautiful brood bitch of Midi Robin , Open spaces to name a few she always loved the greyhounds and she would often sit with them all through the night whilst they were whelping , giving them a cup of tea and a slice of toast in the morning She loved  dogs
