Sussex Beacon Half Marathon 2010 · 21 February 2010 ·

We provide specialist palliative and end of life care for adults living across central and south west London. This year, we must raise £14m to supplement the funding we receive from the NHS so we can continue to provide our outstanding, compassionate care, free of charge. Your support is vital.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After bending many ear over the festive period I have now signed up to run the Sussex Beacon Half Marathon on 21 February. I'm still not convinced that running 26 miles is a natural thing to do so have decided on the more manageable 13 and a bit miles.

In terms of raising money, I have decided once again (since my 2006 10k run) to choose Trinity Hospice, a place just off Clapham Common where people with life limiting illnesses receive respite, end of life care and support. Some of you will know that Juliette works at Trinity Hospice, so I have a vested interest to raise as much money as possible!
