Forward Facing is a multi award winning Brighton based charity creating memories through creative and fun activities for children and young people with long term or life limiting conditions.

As a volunteer and ambassador, I have been supporting this fantastic charity for about a decade now, where once a year the children perform a fantastic show at the Brighton Dome. We call it Memory Making Day. This year the children will be singing their own song written for them (by me) which will make it extra special and personal. It also means  we will not need to go through the painful and expensive process of obtaining copyrights - from Disney for example.. 

However producing the song to a professional level will not be cheap either, and I would love to contribute to the project by not just writting them the song, but also raising the cost of the song production which is  going to be £550 (a very friendly price actually from the fantastic Audiobeach Studios) 

The target of this fundraising is £1000 because we would also like to produce a wonderful music video from the footages of the performance at the Brighton Dome (and the studio as well) and the final video editing will cost another estimated  £400-500. 

This would be a massive dream come true for the Families, the Charity volunteers and directors, and for me as a songwriter! :)

So I am doing a lot of things to make this happen and raise enough money for Forward Facing by Memory Making Day on the 15th April. Mini photoshoots at my little studio (Loving Family Photos),  a carboot sale and also an online bidding page where people can buy and sell things to raise money for the charity. On the 8th March we are planning to organize a Women's Circle/International Women's Day party as well. So plenty to do..

But most of all I'm also looking for simple donors, "investors with a good heart" who would be happy to support this amazing charity, and would  like to have their names at the end of the music video perhaps... 

We are very greateful for every penny or pound, it will go a long way, and of course you will be kindly invited to the event to see what you have "invested into" watching our wonderful children's performance.
