Story
Sadly Adam Zamoyski passed away on the 7th of September 2011. His memory and achievements will endure, and I know how proud he was to help raise money to improve the lives of fellow leukemia sufferers at UCLH who saved his life and battled so hard to enable him to make the most of the last four years. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your donations,
Love Andrzej

On Christmas day, 20 years ago, two young boys sat in their living room enraptured by their new toy, a NES loaded with Super Mario Bros. Being the older brother, I of course played Mario while my little brother Adam played as Luigi. More than a decade later, we again found ourselves sat side by side, this time testing Fable at Lionhead Studios. Both of us being of course brilliant, it wasn't long before we were designing games ourselves, but now at separate companies.
Unfortunately life tends not to be as linear and predictable as a video game and 4 years ago while working at Headstrong Games in London, Adam was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. After 3 difficult years of treatment, Adam was thought to finally have made a full recovery and had even returned to work at his new job with GodFinger creators, Zynga Mobile UK.
Sadly in February of this year, Adam's Leukemia relapsed. With the failure of chemotherapy, Adam's best hope now is a bone marrow transplant. Despite only 35% odds, it turns out my bone marrow is a perfect match. Although there are no guarantees, I hope to donate my bone marrow to him before the end of this year.
We created this page with the goal of raising money to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma fund at UCLH, the hospital at which Adam is treated. Any donation, no matter how small is greatly appreciated - my incredibly generous employer Microsoft, will DOUBLE THE TOTAL AMOUNT RAISED!!!
Love and thanks,
Andrzej (Mario) & Adam (Luigi)
