Being active in sport through running has helped me tremendously in life; It has helped me overcome mental anxiety, depression and helped me to shed over 3 stone in weight I have gained confidence in all areas of my life, learnt to be more positive, as well as more energetic and healthy.

WheelPower provide programs such as Camps for both juniors and adults, and National Games for juniors. These are a great way for those with a disability to discover sport and physical activity in a safe, welcoming and friendly environment, and all activity is adapted to suit each individual's abilities. Through providing the ability to participate in sport, individuals can become active and improve their flexibility and live more enriched lives.
This is so inspirational to me that I want to help and support this fantastic cause so that more people can feel the way I do about being active in sport. Therefore I am challenging myself to run the London Marathon on 26th April 2020.
Due to the Pandemic, I sadly did not get to run this race in 2020, however I am still committed and will now get to run the London Marathon on 2nd October 2022
