Unicef has a dedicated appeal with the organisation targeting the raising of US$ 276 million to respond to immediate needs within Ukraine and US$ 73 million for humanitarian needs in
neighbouring countries. This funding will help to support over 3.5 million people, including 2.2 million children. UNICEF is working with partners to reach vulnerable children and families with
essential services – including health, education, protection, water and
sanitation – as well as life-saving supplies.

The Summer Fields community will be raising funds towards this appeal and if you would like to donate online then all contributions are most welcomed. There will also be opportunities to support this fundraising in school over the next week, at both the match tea on
Saturday 19 March and the end of term service on Wednesday 23 March.
