Story

As many of you know our beloved Dad, Sukhdev Singh Hayre, (or Putha as he was known to many), Ascended to the Highest of Realms on 20th February 2022.

This JustGiving page has been created in loving memory of Sukhdev Singh Hayre. Sukhdev was born in Panjab, India in 1965. He came to the United Kingdom with his parents, Surjit Kaur and Piara Singh at the young age of three. He was the youngest of 8 siblings, he was married at the age of 18 to his wife Jagdish Kaur.

They went onto have three daughters named Manps, Jussi and Shant. Sukhdev was a grandfather to four granddaughters who he doted over. Sukhdev enjoyed spending his weekends with his granddaughters at the park. He was also very fond of gardening.  Sukhdev was a Manchester United fan and enjoyed watching the football with his family.

Sukhdev was taken unexpectedly from his family at the age of 56, he was diagnosed with liver and kidney failure. Sukhdev passed away peacefully at his family home with his wife and daughters beside him. While it is tragic to think about him leaving us too soon, he left behind a lifetime of memories that we will cherish and celebrate.

We have created this JustGiving page to raise funds for The British Liver Trust in his memory and we request those that wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation via this page.

Thank you

Manps, Jussi & Shant
