Story

This page is set-up in memory of Sue Carroll - a Fleet Street legend who worked on papers including The Sun, The News of the World and, for the last 13 years of her life, as top columnist on The Daily Mirror.  Sue was a brilliant writer, interviewer and editor. She is is deeply missed by her family, friends and colleagues.

Before Sue left us on Christmas Day she gave clear instructions that in place of flowers donations should be made to Pancreatic Cancer UK.  She felt passionately that more could and should be done to help those affected by this terrible disease.

This page has been set up to allow you to donate easily but it's also a place for you to say a few words about Sue.

Please pass on the details of this page to anyone who knew or worked with Sue - and thanks for visiting today.

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.
