Story
Dear Family and Friends,
In November 2019 Martin was diagnosed with an aggressive glioblastoma which is a form of brain tumour. He died shortly after on December 22nd. He and the family were looked after by The Walton Centre who provided excellent care and support during a hugely difficult time.
You can read more about Martin and his life here: https://news.liverpool.ac.uk/2020/01/09/obituary-professor-martin-mortimer/
I am planing to walk Offa's Dyke Path in Martin's memory. It is over 20 years since I walked the path from South to North in 3 weeks accompanied by Coll the dog. This year I shall walk from North to South with a new companion, Taly! However, the sections will be shorter so it will take longer. If you would like to spend a day in our company or offer to give a lift please get in touch.
As I go I will be posting updates here and your support for The Walton Centre will be very much appreciated.
Sue and Taly
