We support people with dementia in Scotland to make sure nobody faces dementia alone

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I work as a dementia advisor for Alzheimer Scotland and I am having my head publicly shaved at Oban's Charities Day on June 10.  Its the Saturday after Dementia Awareness week - and I want people to think what living  with dementia might be like.  Having a diagnosis early is essential living well with diseases like Alzheimer's but it also means that the onset of some difficulties are not  always obvious to others.

I want Oban to become a dementia friendly community and become more knowledgeable about dementia and the small things everyone can do that are helpful for people with dementia  - and their families.

So please sponsor me - and come along to the Alzheimer Scotland Stall on Charities Day -  guess the length of my hair being cut off - and at 2pm watch me squirm as I lose it all with Oban FM and live on our Alzheimer Scotland West Argyll and Bute Facebook page!
