ps. Excellent news just received; my office have agreed to match my sponsor monies, so final total raised £210.00 !!

Well – I’m pleased to let you all know that our little team walked the walk and talked the talk and am delighted to say that we polished off the whole 10 miles quite nicely, and were back at base by 3am! No great dramas to report, just a few sore calf muscles the next day plus a magnificent set of blisters for one poor soul. (Ow! not me thank heavens!)
Thank you all so very much again for your lovely sponsorships for Woking and Sam Beare Hospices. This entire experience was great fun as we knew it would be, complete with twinkling ears and giggles, and not too much rain after all. I didn’t realise that quite so many people were in circulation at such early hours of the morning. Cars beeped, people cheered and one passing cyclist was heard to shout into his mobile “..there’s thousands of ‘em!”. A huge conga of 811 ladies all wearing neon flashing bunny ears, happily trotting along the pavement must have been quite a sight for his sore eyes. We think he’d just escaped from the local publican’s lock-in after ‘that second England match’ and was wending his bleary way home, wondering what the heck was going on! Just one more very important thing I would like to note before I do sign off here: the mug of tea I supped at 3am was just simply the best I’d ever, ever had - by that stage I promise you I was really gasping for a cuppa! Check out [if you must!] the compulsory mug shots in my photo gallery on this page. Lots of love s-j xox

Hi there! Thank you very much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have been running and walking regularly every week for the last few years with some other swimming club Mums whilst our little ones [Ha ha! ...maybe not such 'little ones' any more!] plough up and down the training pool. We've often talked about taking part in something just like this Midnight Walk...so when our friend Lorraine came along with all the information and application forms, we just couldn't say "No!".
I once had occasion to visit Woking Hospice for a couple of hours and found it to be a wonderfully calm, peaceful refuge from the big, loud, wide world beyond it's walls. It would be lovely to raise some money for both Woking, and it's sister hospice Sam Beare in Weybridge, whilst participating in what I know will be a 'Girls Night Out' with a difference, so please dig deep and donate now for what I believe is an extremely worthy cause.
With my love and thanks.
