On Saturday 23rd January we were informed that Sue, one of our much loved members of the team had sadly passed away.

Sue was the friendly face at the till, who enjoyed serving customers and was the queen of upselling. Sue would be so proud when she sold all the cakes and sandwiches, she would even come up with her own ideas of what cakes would sell and to her word they always sold. 

Sue knew most of the regular customers by name and would always take time out of her busy day to talk to anyone. 

Sue was very well liked by all of the team and she will be greatly missed. I am sure we all have happy and funny memories of Sue and knowing her those are what she would want us to remember her by.

To pay our respects to Sue and with the overwhelming demand to donate money, we have agreed with Sue’s daughters that a just giving page would be set up with all proceeds donated going to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.

We all know how much Sue loved her dogs and this is the perfect way to remember her.
