***THE PRIZE DRAW HAS NOW BEEN DRAWN AND WINNERS NOTIFIED*** However, please do feel free to continue to donate to this wonderful cause.
A few things to note: Because you are entering into a 'prize draw' in return for your donation, you cannot claim gift aid. So, please DO NOT tick the box when donating to add Gift Aid.
Also, so we can email you if you win one of the baubles, please tick the box saying it is ok for us to see your email address - otherwise we might have to give the bauble to someone else!
What is this all about?
Nothing says 'Christmas' like a good old bauble!
I have joined forces with a selection of the UK’s most talented designers who have each agreed to design a special, one-of-a-kind Christmas bauble to auction off in aid of the NSPCC. Each designer has embellished, painted, prettified and primped each unique bauble which could be hanging from YOUR Christmas tree this festive season! (You can see the full gallery of images here on the gallery page)
You can then feel safe in the knowledge that you've done your little bit to help children and their families in need of a little more love and attention this Christmas. Read more here about the fantastic work the NSPCC does.
So who are the designers?
12 other amazing designers, plus me - that's one for each of the 12 days of Christmas, plus one for luck! High profile names include Rob Ryan, Lisa Levis, Johanna Basford and Rachael Taylor. You can read all about the individual designers and see lots of images of these lovely baubles on the Designer Charity Baubles page here.
How do I get my mitts on one?
It's easy! Here on the Designer Charity Baubles JustGiving Page you are invited to donate in increments of £5.00 for the bauble that you like, each £5.00 equating to a ‘name in a hat’ in the prize draw with one winner per bauble. You can donate as many £5's as you like (preferably lots!) and it will all go towards the wonderful work of the NSPCC. Winners will be selected at random using a random number generator.
Winners will be selected at random on Tuesday 17th December. When donating, you can state the bauble that you'd like so, for example, if you donate £15.00 and state 'I'd like to win the Rob Ryan bauble' - you will get three chances to win that bauble. If you would be happy to win any of the beautiful baubles, just donate and we will randomly select a bauble to put your 'bids' towards.
Why the NSPCC?
Christmas should be the happiest time of the year for children, but sadly this isn't always the case - for some it is an incredibly difficult and lonely time. ChildLine is expecting to handle thousands of counselling sessions with children and young people over the Christmas period, on issues ranging from family relationships to self-harm and suicide. Please give what you can to support this fantastic and worthy cause.
