Story
I shall be doing the Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge and the Swansea Half Marathon on behalf of Ty Hafan.
Ty Hafan - the hospice for children in Wales, is one of the UK's leading paediatric palliative care charities and offers care to children and support for their families throughout Wales. The charity offers comfort, care and support to life limited children (a child not expected to live beyond 18 years of age), young people and their families in the hospice, in the community and in their home so they can make the most of the time they have left together.
This incredible charity provides expert comfort and support to families in their darkest hours and beyond.
On 18th June at 4am, I shall begin the Three Peaks Challenge and climb Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen-y-Fan, the 3 highest mountains in North, Mid and South Wales within a 15 hour time period. If I survive and I'm able, I will then be participating in the Swansea Half Marathon a week later. Being as unfit and unprepared as I am, this is quite a challenge for me but the great work that the charity does has motivated me to do it.
Thank you for visiting my page.
Many Thanks
Stuart
