Story
As a runner of sorts it is probably fair to say that distance is not really my thing and a half marathon is slightly out of my comfort zone. However, this run is with friends / colleagues / customers for what is a really great cause. I wanted to choose a charity that everyone can relate to and the work that hospice’s do is truly inspiring. St.Cuthbert is one such example based in Durham and I would really like to raise lots of money to support the work they do.
St Cuthbert’s Hospice provides specialist care to people with life-limiting illnesses, people approaching the end of life and the bereaved. We make no charge for our services, ensuring Hospice care is available to everyone. It costs over £2 million each year to keep St Cuthbert's Hospice running.
