When my wife, Rachael, was diagnosed with MS, I couldn't begin to imagine how her world had changed. Living as we all do with so much uncertainty surrounding our lives, how do you begin to make sense; begin to cope with this huge and life altering change?

It's uncertain how MS will affect her both now and in the future, how it will affect those closest and most dear to her and her future with them? Everything must seem so uncertain for Rachael and for all MS sufferers!

But I do know some things are for certain - I love Rachael with all my heart and will always be there to support and care for her. She has family and friends that love her and will be there for her too. And she is not alone in her struggle. I am certain that together we can fight this horrible disease!!!!

That's why I'm doing this parachute jump! I'm uncertain as to whether I'll be able to keep my eyes open the whole way down, but I am certain that by doing this I can show my support to Rachael and all of the others who struggle with such a debilitating disease! I hope to help fund the vital support services of the MS society and more research to improve treatments and perhaps even find a cure!!
