Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Lewis Pearson, Andrew Scoot, Richard Johnson and I are attempting to break a world record for the longest ever Doubles badminton match. The current world record is set at 30hrs and we aim to go that bit extra and set a new record whilst raising invaluable funds for a worthy charity in the process.

This whole event is being organised in Karen Plane's name who was a Colleague and friend to all Staff and members at the Castle Sports centre in Spalding. She unfortunatly passed in July 2013 with MND and we hope to raise over £2000 to go this worthy cause. You can find her page on http://karen.plane.muchloved.com/

We are working together with Martin Plane who was Karens Husband to raise some money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association who work hard to make sure those affected recieve the best care, achieve the highest possible quality of life and to die with dignity.

Thank you so much for reading about this event and support in any form will be much appreciated if its sharing the event to build awareness, supporting us on the day or donating to the charity will be extremely well recieved.
