Story

The mighty Truants  - www.thetruantsuk.com - are riding again, this time for a cycle ride in late January to raise money for Nordoff Robbins, Childline and Teenage Cancer Trust.

The journey, over 3 days in and around the Angkor Temple Complex, will cover more than 100 miles, a mixture of off / on road, high humidity and dusty trails.

So far, the annual Truants cycle rides have raised almost £1 million.  This is the ride that should hopefully see us smash through this total.  Throughout the year, I’m involved in fundraising generally for Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy and it’s great to take part in this annual bike ride and actually do something physical, rather than sitting in committee rooms all year.

It’s been over a year since the last ride in Morocco and I restrict my fundraising requests to friends and colleagues for this one project each year, so I’d be very grateful if you can support me in my endeavours and give whatever you can for these great causes.

As is the case with all our Truants I will be paying all costs related to the ride personally so every penny donated goes to the Charities. Nordoff Robbins collect and account all donations before sharing equally with the other two charities.

Thanks very much!
