Story
Anyone who knows me knows the struggles I went through to even get into this world. Born extremely premature, weighing 1lb 14oz, smaller than a pencil and a non existent wind pipe, I had very little chance of survival and had almost no chance of speaking due to damage to my vocal chords while having an extremely complicated tracheostomy.
Not only did I survive but I became a teacher and speak all day long teaching music to amazing young people.
This wouldn't not be even remotely possible were it not for the amazing expertise and hard work of the staff at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). I am not exaggerating in saying that I owe them my life.
Also after seeing my brother-in-law complete the London marathon and getting quite emotional at all the people doing something I thought I have so much to be thankful for I need to give back so this is my journey, let the training commence!
