Story
Hi all, Macmillan helped me with my young family 20 years ago when my wife died of cancer aged 34 and I was left with 2 young children my daughter aged 11 and son aged 4. My whole life changed at a flick of a switch, Macmillan was there to pick me up and put me and my family back together. They gave us support and advice that we just would not have known about or even where to have looked. Since then we have been touched by cancer so many times, losing both my uncles to cancer then my children's nan, then in the last 18 months both mine and Amanda's dads have been diagnosed with cancer, but have both been given the all clear in the last few months. So it is now time to give back, so many other people can benefit from the fantastic work this charity provides . I will be attempting this trekking adventure with my now wife Amanda and our two dogs Division a coli cross pointer and Gucci a bichon frise who have both attempted scaffell pike. Me and Amanda would like to thank everyone in advance for any donations to this fantastic charity.
BIG THANKS Steve and Amanda
