London Marathon 2021 · 3 October 2021 ·
Five years ago I decided that I needed to change certain aspects of my life. I had slowly over time put on too much weight and had become terribly unfit, so I decided to start running again. Very soon I was seeing the benefits and I also lost the weight I needed to. I went on to run in various distance races and quickly expressed the desire to do 'The Big One'. Now I promised not only myself but those around me that if I did ever do it I would raise money for Lymphoma Action. Nigel, my father in law was unlucky enough to be diagnosed some time ago but fought the illness with immense strength and dignity. Thankfully he beat it and remains clear of it. So, as a testament to his courage and bravery I'm going to do this little run! Please give all you can for this hugely vital and important charity so that we can work to beat it for good! Thank you so much for your support.
