Story
Hello, and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page......
Where to start?, Well, basically, I got dragged into competing in a mini triathlon by my mate Dave, (the mini reference is still relative though!), and I felt compelled to use the opportunity to raise money for charity, as well as discover if those hours in the gym have paid off, oh, and not to mention a month off the booze will be good for me.
This is the first event of this type i've signed up to so my competive career may be short lived, but don't let that put you off giving a little of your cash to such a worth while charity, even if all you can spare is 50p, it all adds up.
The Mini-Marshman is a sprint triathlon, starting with a 700m Swim, then a 22K bike ride and a 6K run to finish. Its on Sunday the 8th May in Lydd, Kent and i have attached a link to the website if anyone wants to know more, or even come down for a day out:

For those that are unaware, Demelza is a charity that cares for children with life-limiting illnesses or serious medical conditions, as well as support and councilling for families. Any parents out there will feel particularly moved by such a thought.
